Sparrow vs Pine AI

Both use AI phone calls to lower bills and cancel subscriptions. Pine AI is a general assistant you can hand almost any customer service task. Sparrow is narrower and adds money you are owed but may not know about: class action settlements and unclaimed property.

The short version: If you want one agent to handle many kinds of calls, emails and disputes, with banks, airlines, insurers and hotels as well as bill providers, Pine AI does more than Sparrow and has an Android app. If you want class action settlement claims, unclaimed property and bill calls at a few dollars a month with no success fee, Sparrow covers that at a much lower price.

Where each one is stronger

Pine AI is a good product. Here is what it does better, and what Sparrow does that it does not.

Where Pine AI wins

  • Range: Pine takes on almost any customer service task, including billing disputes, travel problems, complaints to hotels and airlines, and calls to banks and insurers. Sparrow makes only bill, cancellation and late delivery calls.
  • Insurance bills: Pine lists insurance among the bills it negotiates. Sparrow covers internet, phone and utility bills.
  • Android. Pine has an Android app; Sparrow does not.
  • A free plan: you can try bill negotiation on Pine and pay only a 25% fee if savings are confirmed.

Where Sparrow wins

  • Class action settlements: Sparrow finds settlements you qualify for and files the claims. Pine does not list this.
  • Unclaimed property: a free search of all 50 states, with the claim made on the state site for free.
  • Price: Sparrow costs $3 to $7 a month, billed annually, with bill calls included and no success fee. Pine’s personal plans start at $39 a month, or $319 a year for Pro, and its work plans run $99.90 to $291.60 a month, billed annually.
  • Late delivery refunds start on their own when Sparrow reads a delay notice in your inbox.

What they cost

Pine AI

Pine sells credit-based plans. For personal use: Pro at $39 a month or $319 a year, and Premium at $79 a month or $639 a year. For work: Plus at $99.90, Max at $174.90 and Team at $291.60 a month, billed annually ($139, $249 and $419 billed monthly). There is also a Free plan. On Free and Pro Monthly, bill negotiation costs a 25% success fee on confirmed savings, and Pine places a temporary hold on your card for the estimated fee for up to 7 days. Pro Annual and Premium cover bill negotiation without that fee.

Sparrow

One membership at $3 to $7 a month, billed annually, priced by what your claims are worth. It covers class action claims, unclaimed money search, bill negotiation calls, subscription cancellation calls and late delivery refunds. If you do not earn more than you paid, Sparrow refunds the difference.

Which one should you pick?

Pick Pine AI if

  • You have a messy one-off problem, such as a billing dispute or a travel complaint, and want an agent to work it through.
  • You need calls to banks, airlines or insurers, which Sparrow does not make.
  • You use Android.

Pick Sparrow if

  • You want settlement payouts and unclaimed property found and claimed.
  • You want bills lowered without a success fee, for a fraction of Pine’s plan prices.
  • You want a money-back guarantee: if you do not earn more than you paid, Sparrow refunds the difference.

What Pine AI and Sparrow each do, and what they cost.

Pine AI, from 19Pine, is an AI assistant that makes calls, replies to emails and fills in web forms to handle customer service tasks for you, such as lowering bills, cancelling subscriptions and disputing charges. It launched in January 2025 and is moving its website from 19pine.ai to pine.im.

Pine has a Free plan, and its personal plans start at $39 a month (Pro), or $319 a year. On Free and Pro Monthly, bill negotiation carries a 25% success fee on confirmed savings. Sparrow costs $3 to $7 a month, billed annually, with no success fee.

No. The 93% negotiation success rate is Pine’s own claim, made on its website and App Store listing, and its websites cite more than 150,000 users (pine.im now shows over 210,000). Pine does not publish how either was measured.

Class action claims and unclaimed property are not among the services Pine lists. Those are the core of what Sparrow does.

Yes, they do not conflict. You could use Sparrow for settlements, unclaimed money and routine bill calls, and Pine for one-off disputes that need a general agent. Avoid having both negotiate the same bill at once.
