What is an unintended activation?
A voice assistant listens for a wake phrase and begins recording when it believes it has heard one. An unintended activation is when something that was not the wake phrase triggers that recording, so speech the user never meant to send to the assistant is captured and can be passed on for review.
How many devices could be claimed?
Up to five. Claims could be filed without documentation, and the total across all claimed devices reached up to $100. The number of devices, not the value of any one of them, is what set the size of an individual claim.
